john

John E. Schneider
President

As founder of Air Tox Environmental Company, John has over 34 years of experience in the air quality engineering and consulting field. As President of Air Tox, John is responsible for the implementation, staffing and support of all air quality projects at Air Tox, as well as coordination with local, State and federal regulatory agencies.

John’s expertise covers the range of services provided by Air Tox including permitting, source emissions measurement and continuous emissions monitoring. When consulting a customer, John draws from his years of experience in each of the different services provided by Air Tox.

Prior to entering the air monitoring and consulting field, John’s industrial experience was as a Chemist and Environmental Engineer in the automotive manufacturing industry. This experience in the industrial sector has proven to be a valuable asset to John in his understanding of the challenges faced by today’s environmental engineers and managers.  John recently moved to Nashville, TN to be close to the kids and grandkids and is working on developing business in the Midwest and South for the newly formed TN division of Air Tox.

John has a B.S. in Chemistry from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois.

Glen

Glen Lundstrom
COO

Glen joined Air Tox in 2013 where he fulfilled various roles until taking over as Chief Operating Office in 2018.  Prior to joining Air Tox, Glen had held senior management positions in companies in the construction, service and distribution industries.  During this time, he was able to both grow each business exponentially while streamlining operational processes in order to provide clients with the best value-added solutions available.

With his past experiences, he was able to bring improvements to the CEMS parts distribution, service and CEMS integration segments of Air Tox.  In his current role as COO, he looks to bring further process improvements in an effort to continue providing Air Tox clients with cost effective best-in-class solutions to their air compliance needs.

Glen is a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  With eight (8) young grandchildren, Glen’s personal life is very busy, but full of love and laughter.

Eric Dithrich
Vice President

Eric Dithrich has been a member of the Air Tox team since 1998 and brings decades of experience in the air quality engineering and consulting field. As Vice President of the Source Emissions Monitoring Group, Mr. Dithrich is responsible for the day-to-day business operations.  Additionally, Eric is responsible for the implementation, staffing and support of all source emissions measurement projects at Air Tox. 

Eric’s experience covers a wide range of services, including method development, air emissions quantification, continuous emissions monitoring, and permitting for many different types of facilities both domestic and overseas.  This experience has proven beneficial in providing Eric with a broad understanding of the complex and fluid regulatory issues challenging facilities.

Mr. Dithrich has a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont. He currently holds a patent for a biofuel emissions control device.  In addition to his professional pursuits, Eric is a father of two sons and is active in his local church.

Ted

Ted Bennett
Director of Emissions Monitoring Services

Having joined the Air Tox team in 2022, Ted brings 30 years of experience in the air quality testing and consulting field.  As Director of Emissions Monitoring Services, Ted is responsible for identifying, meeting, and maintaining the stack testing needs of our clientele in the northeast.   He plays a key role in training, mentoring and professionally developing our emissions monitoring professionals, and places a high emphasis on the importance of data quality and overall integrity.

 Our clients contact Ted when they are looking to schedule a stack testing program.  He will develop a customized proposal that is tailored to meet the regulatory needs of a program, then he will assign a project manager to each project that is awarded.  Scheduling a field effort with a competent stack testing crew, protocol development, regulatory interaction, project management, data reduction and evaluation, report preparation, peer review, and personnel management are all things that Ted enjoys playing a key role with at Air Tox.

Ted has a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Norwich University in Northfield VT – the oldest private military college in the country.  After college he worked for three other stack testing companies before landing at Air Tox.  He is a family man with three adult daughters.  He served for 12 years in the US Army National Guard and US Army Reserves as a company commander for an engineering basic training battalion.  He currently volunteers weekly with the youth group in his home church, and volunteers with Samaritan’s Purse when local natural disasters strike.

Tom

Tom Howland
Project Manager

Thomas Howland joined the Air Tox team In 2022 and has several years of experience in the industry.He is a young and eager project manager who will bring energy, organization and dedication to each and every project. Thomas is responsible for the oversight of assigned projects from start to finish including managing field efforts, report and protocol writing as well as maintaining excellent client relationships.

Clients are welcomed and encouraged to reach out with whatever questions that might arise. Thomas, along with the entire Air Tox team, are competent and experienced individuals who will help our clients meet Federal, State or Local regulations. Tom is driven, passionate, and motivated to make the process smooth and straight forward for his clients.

Thomas has a B.S. in Environmental science from Keene State College where he developed his foundation for his environmental career. During his time at Keene State College, Tom was President of the schools Rugby Club and an active member of the school’s volunteer group, Alternative Break. In his free time, he enjoys being outside on the water, fishing, and riding motorcycles.

Robbie

Robbie Mezanava
Field Service Engineering Director

Robbie joined Air Tox in 2020. He brings over 15 years of customer service experience to the company through work in the fitness and hospitality industries. He studied Computer Technology Engineering, with a focus in electronics, at DeVry University and served over 7 years in the Army as an Infantry Scout Sniper. Robbie is a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal with Valor device for his actions during combat in Afghanistan in 2011.

At Air Tox, Robbie takes on a more hybrid role and handles CEMS integration projects, onsite CEMS maintenance and support, remote technical support, CEMS parts procurement, and periodic emissions reporting to federal and state regulatory agencies. Robbie is also a member of the Air Tox business development team and manages source emissions testing projects for clients located in the southwest region of the country. 

Robbie is married with 6 children, a dog, and 23 chickens.  He loves spending his days off at home cooking for his family and doing outside housework.

Jared Sanderson

In 2020, Jared accepted the position of CEMS Integration Engineer at Air Tox. His construction background and 15 years of experience in project management fortify his responsibility in the design, build, and installation of new and/or existing CEMS.

Both new and existing customers contact Jared when they have a need to install new CEMS and/or upgrade existing systems. With an understanding of regulatory permits and requirements, Jared will work with the customer to produce a comprehensive system with high attention to detail.

Jared enjoys the challenge of a new project and takes great pride in the final product. He likes to spend his free time at home with his family and helping others.

Gaby Mezanava

Gabriella joined Air Tox in 2022. As an Air Compliance Specialist, Gabriella is responsible for helping clients across the nation maintain necessary legal documents showing their compliance with federal and state air quality regulations.   She is also responsible for completing quarterly reports for select Plants.

Our clients contact Gabriella when they are looking to modify their permit, need their Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) documents or Hardcopy Monitoring Plans written or revised.

Gabriella has a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN.  Outside of work, Gabriella enjoys raising her family of 6 kids with her husband Robbie Mezanava.
