Having joined the Air Tox team in 2022, Ted brings 30 years of experience in the air quality testing and consulting field. As Director of Emissions Monitoring Services, Ted is responsible for identifying, meeting, and maintaining the stack testing needs of our clientele in the northeast. He plays a key role in training, mentoring and professionally developing our emissions monitoring professionals, and places a high emphasis on the importance of data quality and overall integrity.
Our clients contact Ted when they are looking to schedule a stack testing program. He will develop a customized proposal that is tailored to meet the regulatory needs of a program, then he will assign a project manager to each project that is awarded. Scheduling a field effort with a competent stack testing crew, protocol development, regulatory interaction, project management, data reduction and evaluation, report preparation, peer review, and personnel management are all things that Ted enjoys playing a key role with at Air Tox.
Ted has a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Norwich University in Northfield VT – the oldest private military college in the country. After college he worked for three other stack testing companies before landing at Air Tox. He is a family man with three adult daughters. He served for 12 years in the US Army National Guard and US Army Reserves as a company commander for an engineering basic training battalion. He currently volunteers weekly with the youth group in his home church, and volunteers with Samaritan’s Purse when local natural disasters strike.
